When and where is it?
The program will be held at Canberra Christian School on the nights of December 9, 10 and 11. The first tour begins at 6:00pm
How long does it take?
The Road to Bethlehem tour takes just over 30 minutes from start to finish.
Is there parking at the event?
Unfortunately the main carpark of Canberra Christian School will be used for market stalls and will not be accessible. However, there is ample parking nearby along Ainsworth Street, as well as the nearby local shops.
What does it cost to go on the Road to Bethlehem tour?
Although we recommend pre-booking your tickets, the tour itself is completely free. If you would like to visit the market stalls, we recommend bringing a small selection of cash with you. Also, at the end of the tour, there is an opportunity to donate money to help with the cost of the event to our Tax Collectors.
Is it suitable for wheelchairs/prams?
A lot of the terrain is slightly bumpy, and there are one or two places where assistance is needed, however we have tour guides available to help assist those with wheelchairs or prams.
Are we able to bring pets?
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
Can we tour in our own group?
The tours for Road to Bethlehem cater for groups up to 30 people. All booked groups will tour as part of a larger group, which will include members of the public.
Is Road to Bethlehem suitable for all ages?
Yes, absolutely! Many people of all ages have enjoyed the Road to Bethlehem experience since it began.
Who produces Road to Bethlehem?
Road to Bethlehem is produced by members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church here in Canberra as a way of sharing with the community. Everyone including the actors, technical support members, and those providing live entertainment volunteer their time and effort to share this event.
